Description
Dorothy Gale lives with her Aunt Em, Uncle Henry and dog, Toto in Kansas. When a horrible neighbor, Miss Gulch, takes Toto away, Toto escapes back to Dorothy. Soon, she runs away from home, and runs into the fake psychic, Professor Marvel. When he tells Dorothy that her Auntie Em is sick, Dorothy and Toto run back home just ahead of a tornado that whisks Dorothy and Toto to Oz, a place somewhere over the rainbow. When the house lands in Munchkinland, it accidently lands on the Wicked Witch of the West's sister and when Dorothy magically inherits the ruby slippers, she gains a powerful enemy. Glinda, the Good Witch of the North shows Dorothy the Yellow Brick Road that leads to the Wizard so she can get back home. Along the way, she befriends Scarecrow, Tinman, and Lion who are also seeking help from the Wizard for a brain, a heart, and courage. When the Wizard challenges them to bring back the witch's broom, they go on an adventure that proves they had everything they needed all along.
