Description
What began in 1183 as an unlikely partnership between a group of Catholic nuns and a country doctor became the renowned institution that has been called a 'Medical Mecca', the 'Supreme Court of Medicine', and the 'place for hope when there is no hope'. Combining history and background stories of patients, the film illustrates the importance of commitment and healing even while dealing the role of money and profit in today's day and age.
