Description
In commemoration of the 75th anniversary of D-Day, a battle that would change the course of the war, Tarshis shines a spotlight on the story of the Normandy landings, the largest seaborne invasion in history and foundation for the Allied victory in World War II. French villager, eleven-year-old Paul, has seen his home subjected to Nazi control for years and seen his Jewish best friend disappear. When an American paratrooper lands in a tree near Paul's home and asks for help with a plan that will defeat the Nazis for good, Paul finds himself in the middle of the largest invasion in history. Can he help make a difference?
